At rest in Redwood City on May 22, 2009 at the age of 96. Born on October 11, 1912 to the late Sidney and Lena Kepney, Ula was Pastor of
the Redwood City Church of God in Christ. He served in the church for
50 years and was the oldest Church of God in Christ Pastor in Northern California .
Pastor Kepney was preceded in death by his wife of 26 years, Agnes Kepney and is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Friends are invited to attend a Quite Hour Thursday, May 28, 2008 from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Crippen & Flynn Woodside Chapel, 400 Woodside Road, Redwood City and are invited to attend a Funeral Service Friday, May 29, 2009 at 11:00 am at Sweet Home Church of God in Christ, 2170 Capitol Avenue, East Palo Alto with burial following at Skylawn Memorial Park, San Mateo.
