Beatrice Sargeant of San Carlos , California , passed away at Stanford Hospital on May 7, 2009 . Bea was born February 5, 1934 in Brainerd , Minnesota . She graduated from Little Falls High School in Minnesota in 1951 and worked at the Registrar of Deeds office in Little Falls until she moved to California in 1958. She was an administrative assistant at Litton Industries in San Carlos until her retirement in 1999. She had a great love of and devotion to animals. The hobby she most enjoyed was doing beautiful needlepoint. She is survived by her sisters, Bonnie (Gary) Immeker, Fremont, and Beverly (Howard) Larsen, Little Falls, Minnesota; daughter Diane Allen , son-in-law Roger Allen, grandchildren Matthew and Megan Allen, of Belmont; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray V. and Irene Anderson.
A private graveside service was held at Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo on May 15th. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at Messiah Lutheran Church , 1835 Valota Road , Redwood City .
