Passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2009. Jackie was the beloved wife of the late Edward Payne and was born January 24, 1926 in San Francisco. She resided in Belmont for the last 53 years and left behind her loving son John and adored grandchildren Alycia and Tyler.
Jackie was raised in San Francisco by her loving parents Joseph and Pauline Sebastian until she met her husband Ed. They were married and in 1953 moved to Belmont. For a few years she worked for a photography studio, but for the majority of her life she loved being a mother and grandmother to her family; and taking care of others she loved. In her later years she was involved with the Belmont Senior Citizens center and loved her friends there dearly. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, and she will be in our memories and in our hearts forever.
A Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 9:30am, on Friday, May 22 at Crippen & Flynn Carlmont Chapel, 1111 Alameda de las Pulgas in Belmont. Immediately following at 10am, a Service will be held where she will be laid to rest at Golden Gate National Cemetery next to her husband Ed and two daughters Susan and Sharon.
