James P. "Butch" Boxell 58, of Princeton passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. He was born on February 22, 1954 in Princeton, IN to Billy & Betty Jo Boxell. He graduated from Princeton High School in 1972. Butch was the Manufacturing/Facilities Manager at Hansen Corp. and had been there for 40 years. He was a very active member of the Princeton Elks #634. He was also a member of the Princeton Moose, Eagles #361 and the A.Q.H.A.(American Quarter Horse Assoc). He was an avid Kentucky Derby Fan.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Boxell of Princeton; 3 brothers, Joe (Karen) Boxell of Princeton, Chris (Leigh) Boxell of Tennessee and John (Karen) Boxell of Auburn, IL; special companion, Nancy Bruce; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Boxell in 1990 and a sister, Peggy Ann Boxell in 1971.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM on Friday, May 4, 2012 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Rev. Brian Cook. Burial will be at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Thursday at Colvin Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Phi Beta Psi or Hillside United Methodist Church Building Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
