Bertha A. Belcher, 91 of Patoka, Indiana passed away on Friday, November 6, 2009 at Gibson General Hospital SNF in Princeton. She was born May 11, 1918 in Casey Co., Kentucky to Elisha & Eleanor (Fair) Johnson.

She was preceded by her parents; her husband, Richard Belcher in 2003; 4 brothers, William, Leonard, Juel and Howard Johnson; 3 sisters, Della Rodgers, Bessie Lynn and Sussie Prichard.

Bertha is survived by her 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Martha (Edward) Partyka of West Chicago, IL, Phyllis (Larry) Hedge of Patoka, and Patti (Jerry) Wildt of Princeton; 7 grandchildren, Wayne Ivy, Chris Ivy, Richard Hedge, Pamela Hartley, Rebecca Miller, J.D. Wildt and Jim Wildt; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; and 1 brother & sister-in-law, Orbie (Flossie) Johnson of Union, IN.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday November 10, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Veltri Taylor officiating. Burial will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Patoka. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the Gibson General Skilled Nursing Staff and the Vista Care Hospice.
