Elizabeth R. McGraw, 79 of Princeton, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at her home in Princeton. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton. She retired in 1994, after 22 years at Hansens. She was a member of the VFW Post #1147 Ladies Auxiliary. She was an avid reader and enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was born July 24, 1929 in Louisville, KY to Phillip and Rebecca (Cunningham) Posante, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leroy McGraw in 2003; and brothers and sisters, Jasper & David Posante, Linda Peay and Beatrice Kailin.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis & Terri McGraw of Princeton; 2 grandchildren, Elizabeth (Cory) Hutchinson of Somerville and Derek (Beth) McGraw of Princeton; 4 great grandchildren, Markis & Alexandra Hutchinson and Karsyn & Koen McGraw; 3 brothers, James Posante of Owensboro, Martin Posante of Louisville and Isadore Posante of Sellersburg, IN; 3 sisters, Jane Wallace, Joann Knapp and Patricia Berry all of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday June 27, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton, with the Father Tony Ernst officiating. Burial will be at the St. Joseph Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 P.M. on Friday at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. A Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 PM on Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Church in Princeton. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
