Margaret Freudenberg age 84 of Buckskin formerly of Evansville passed away Friday June 12, 2009 at the Gibson General Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility in Princeton. She was born March 3, 1925 in Vanderburgh County, IN. to Ray and Gertrude (Stitt) Freudenberg. She was a retired secretary from Whirlpool Corporation in Evansville, where she worked for 44 years.

Margaret moved to Buckskin following her retirement having lived in Evansville for many years. She was a member of Nobles Chapel United Methodist Church in Elberfield. She was a former President of the National Secretary’s Association, Evansville Chapter. She was also a member of the Community Club and the Home Economics Club. She loved boating, traveling and playing golf.

She is survived by four nephews; Ronnie (Sandy) Sensmeier Oakland City, Donnie Sensmeier, Ft. Branch, Tom Sensmeier, and David (Kreesa) Sensmeier both of Oakland City, IN, four great nieces and nephews: Michelle McGillem, Steven Sensmeier, Jody Sensmeier and Jayson Sensmeier, and six great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Anna Mary Sensmeier.

Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Monday June 15, 2009 at the Nobles Chapel United Methodist Church, with Pastor Ann Skiba officiating. Burial will follow in the Nobles Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Sunday at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, and from 8 a.m. until service time on Monday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Nobles Chapel Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
