I used to date Billy about 15 years ago. My dad Herman DeLong went to school with his dad. I was shocked to hear that he died and he will be greatly missed.

My heart and prayers go out to all of you. I recall so many happy childhood memories and long summer days of playing together with Billy and his siblings: making houses out of cardboard boxes, playing Barbie's and Johnny West, building sand cities,listening to Billy play his guitar, and watching "Dark Shadows" in the basement. Billy was so talented and had such a tender heart-he will be greatly missed. I'm sure Grandma Rea, Grandpa Earl, Manu, and Papaw are having a wonderful reunion with him in Heaven. Someday we will all be together again. Just a few more days....what a reunion it will be!
I am unable to attend Billy's going home service due to being in Georgia with my daughter who is fighting cancer-but please know, I am with you in spirit and love you all- my thoughts and prayers are with you always.
