Nora Springs- Deborah “Deb” Jean Hart, 47 of Nora Springs, died Sunday, (September 6, 2009), at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

A funeral service for Deb will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, (September 11, 2009), at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126-3rd Street NE, Mason City, with Reverend Kenneth B. Gehling officiating. Burial will be in the Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery in Mason City.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday and one hour prior to service time on Friday at the chapel.

Deb’s family has suggested that those wishing to give a memorial may do so in her memory.

Deborah Jean Hart was born on November 25, 1961, in Mason City, the daughter of John and Bernice (Koch) Slusarczyk. Deb attended Mason City Schools and also attended and graduated from Hamilton Business College in 1980 with an accounting degree. Deb worked at Wellborn Industries in Mason City for eight years. Deb began working for Curries Manufacturing in 1989 and was currently employed with Graham Manufacturing as a regional quoting manager.

Deb was united in marriage to Scott Hart on June 20, 2005, in Mason City.

Deb enjoyed going to races, concerts and cooking, but her great love and enjoyment was her family, grandchildren, and her three cats; Rusty, Billie and Sampson.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband; Scott Hart of Nora Springs, her children; Renee (Trent) Christiansen of Nora Springs, and Christopher Hildman of Driggs, Idaho, her grandchildren; Stefan Hildman and Cole Christiansen, her brothers and sister; Bob (Deb) Slusarczyk of Mason City, Robertha (Bob) Grelak of Newark, Delaware, and Johnny Slusarczyk of Arizona, her brothers and sister-in-laws; Joe Stefaniak of Helena, Montana, Brenda Hart of Mason City, Brad Hart of Mason City, and Dennis (Robin) Hart of Mason City, as well as many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.

Deb was preceded in death by her parents; John and Bernice Slusarczyk, her brother; William Slusarczyk, her sister; Jean Stefaniak, and her mother and father-in-law; Rose M. and Raymond Charles Hart.
