| | | Wilbert Glenn Vick, 75, of Wiggins Mill Road, died at his home Monday October 12, 2009. Mr. Vick was born August 10, 1934 in Johnston County to the late Vernon Lester and Martha Lucinda Ward Vick. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Minshew-Coley Funeral Home. Rev. Brian Tippett will officiate, Tommy Whitfield and Truman Townsend will speak. Burial will follow in the Kenly Cemetery.
Surviving, wife, Linda Smith Vick; two daughters, Rhonda Vick Leegins and husband Billy of Kenly; Glenda Vick Avery and husband Darrell of Wilson; son, Henry Vernon Vick, of US Naval Base California; two sisters, Dida Mae Watkins of Selma; Ann Vick Coley of Middlesex; brother, Vernon Lester Vick, Jr. of Lucama; 8 grandchildren, Victoria, Elizabeth, Caroline, Cameron, Joshua, Jessica, Christopher, and Catlyn.
Visitation from 5:30 to 9:00 P.M. Wednesday at the home and family will receive friends all day.
