| | | Melvin Thadis Howell, 87, of Old Hwy 22 died Wednesday September 30, 2009 at his home. Mr. Howell was born on October 27, 1921 to the late Fritz and Kate Howell. Graveside Services will be held Saturday October 3, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Kenly cemetery Rev. Gene Thompson will be officiating the service.
Surviving family members are his son; Michael Wayne Howell and wife Sue, Grandchildren; Joshua Howell Micah Howell and Jamie Snow-Yanick, Great-Grandchild; Ethan, Maddie, Lily, Amelia, Cecelia, Luke, and Kate Howell.
He was preceded in death by his wife Pauline Boyette Howell.
The family will receive friends Friday October 2, 2009 from 7-8:30 P.M. at Minshew-Coley Funeral Home.
