| | | Fuquay “PAP” Bass, 77, Raymond Road died Thursday September 17, 2009 at his home. Mr. Bass was born on January 26, 1932 in Wilson County to the late Addie and Leucraty Watson Bass. He was a member of the American Legion in Wilson, NC. Graveside services will be held Saturday September 19, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Bass Family Cemetery. Rev. Jasper Renfrow will be officiating the service. Family will receive friends at Minshew-Coley Funeral Home Saturday September 19, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. till 12:00 P.M.
Surviving, two sons, Garland Bass and wife Star of Selma; Mark Bass and wife Janice of Lucama; brother, Royce Bass of Lucama; sisters, Lydia Gray Watkins of Lucama; Cleo Bass Tedder of Fl.; six grandchildren.
