| | | Ivon Griselda Durham Boyette, 86, of Kenly, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2009, in the comfort of her home. The family will receive friends at Minshew-Coley Funeral Home on Tuesday from 1:30PM until the service. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00pm Tuesday (Aug. 25, 2009) at Minshew-Coley Funeral Home in Kenly. Rev. Vernon Grimes will officiate over the service. A private committal service will be held at Kenly Cemetery.
Mrs. Boyette was born in Johnston County to the late Luther and Ida Mustgrave Durham. She was a member of Kenly Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her daughter; Brenda Boyette and husband Ronald Lindquist of Wilmington; brothers, Wilbert Durham and wife Ethel of Dunn and Ralph Durham of Smithfield; granddaughter, Sylvia Payne; two great grandchildren
Preceded in death by husband Msgt. Roland Boyette and daughter Judith Boyette Spears.
