| | | Clifford “Frenchie” Charette, Sr. 69, of Watkins Street, Kenly died Tuesday at Wilson Medical Center. He was born in Fort Kent, Maine on October 28, 1939 to the late Alec Charette and Delina Lafrance Charette. Mr. Charette was a deacon at Holly Springs Free Will Baptist Church. He had 21 years of service with the Kenly Fire Department and worked with the Kenly Rescue.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday at Holly Springs Free Will Baptist Church. Rev. Curtis Jones will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Surviving, wife Faye Charette; son, Clifford Charette, Jr. and wife Robin of Kenly;
three sisters, Geraldine Wilcox of Caribou, Maine; Winifred Roberson of Maine; Robertine Tomcak of Plainville , CT.; two brothers, Dana Charette of Claire, New Brunswick , Canada; Leo Charette Southington, CT; one grandchild, Sarah Carey and husband David
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7-9 PM at Minshew – Coley Funeral Home.
