| | | John Watson Edwards, 69, of Kenly died Wednesday April 22, 2009.
He was the son of the late Lloyd and Inez Watson Edwards. Funeral services will be held Sunday April 26, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Minshew-Coley Funeral Home. Rev. George Arant will officiate.
He is survived by wife, Julia Glover Edwards; daughter, Ginger Edwards Godwin and husband Mark of Wilson; son, Bryan Ashley Edwards and wife Michelle of New York; brother, Marvin Edwards and wife Berta of Wilson;
sister-in-law; Barbara Edwards of Wilson; brother-in-law; Miley Williams Glover and wife Jan of Monroe; sister-in-law, Edith Ristau of Wilson; four beautiful grandchildren, Emma Edwards, Will Edwards, Noelle Godwin and Jake Godwin; and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends following the service.
