| | | Jimmie McPherson Sessom, 83, of Abednego Road died Wednesday. A graveside service was held Friday January 30, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Holly Springs Church Cemetery. Rev. Curtis Jones officiated the service.
Mr. Sessom was born November 4, 1925 in Wake County to the late Arthur Sessom and Vasti Newcome Sessom. He was a retired WWII Veteran of the United States Navy and
worked for 20 years with the State of North Carolina.
Surviving; wife, Rose Pittman Sessom; two daughters, Amanda Sessom of Kenly; Lisa Stephenson of Benson; three step-sons, Eddie McDaris of Pikeville; Roger McDaris of Pine Level; Clay McDaris of Wilmington; 5 grandchildren and 1 step-grandchild
Preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Sessom and Ernest Sessom.
