| | | Mr. Clinton R. Ward, age 82, died January 22, 2009 at his home in Kenly. Funeral service will be held Saturday January 24, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. at Minshew Funeral Home Chapel Rev. Lewis Godwin will be officiating the services. The family will receive friends following the service. Burial will be Sunday January 25, 2009 at 2:00P.M. in Kenly cemetery.
Mr. Ward was born in Johnston county on April 7, 1926 to the late Roy Ward and Maudie Wilkins Ward.
Surviving, two daughters, Faith Davis of Elm City; Hope Willoughby and husband Joseph of Kenly; four grandchildren; Jerome Willoughby, Melissa Willoughby Williford,
Matthew Willoughby and Chelsea Davis; 6 Great Grandchildren, Hunter Willoughby, Rajen Williford, Alaine Williford, Cody Willoughby, Landon Williford and Logan Willoughby;
Preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years Nellie Johnson Ward.
