| | | Christine Sanders Renfrow, 88, died Wednesday at Wilson Medical Center. Funeral service will be held Saturday January 10, 2009 at 1:00 PM in the New Jerusalem Free Will Baptist Church. Rev. Danny Creech will officiate. Burial will follow in the Sanders
Cemetery in Spring Hope.
Ms. Renfrow was born in Nash County February 23, 1920 to the late Shelton Guy and Danie Murray Sanders. Devoted to the church and sang with a gospel group. Member of widow women of New Jerusalem Church. She loved to cook and bake and was referred to as “Aunt Teen”.
Surviving, son, Joe Aycocke and wife Linda of Kenly; sister, Irene Reavis of Raleigh;
two brothers, Velton Lee Sanders of Battleboro; Donald Ray Sanders of Spring Hope;
7 grandchildren, David, Crystal, Kathy, Sonya, Tonya, Justin , Monroe; 9 great
grandchildren, A.J., Jessica, T.J., Laura, Tina, Josh, Carmen, Maria, Kayla, Tina;
Preceded in death by daughters, Mary “Cookie” Ore and Peggy Ann Aycock.
