| | | Ruby Stancil Overman age 87, died January 6, 2009 at in Wilson NC. A funeral service will be held Thursday January 8, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. at Minshew-Coley funeral home chapel. Family will receive friends after the funeral service. Mrs. Overman was born Wilson County September 18, 1921 to the late John and Effie Tedder Pittman. She was a member of Little Rock FWB Church and volunteer at Wilson Medical For many years. Loved to cook and flowers and anyone who came to see her. She was preceded in death by her husband George Stancil and son Daron Stancil.
Surviving, Son: Wayne Stancil and wife Wanda of Black Creek. And three grand children Samara Butts, Josh Stancil, Susan Stancil, and five Great Grand Children.
Burial will be 11:00 AM. Friday January 9, 2009 at the Evans family cemetery.
