| | | Joy Sanders Newcomb, age 56, died December 27, 2008. A Funeral service will be held Tuesday December 30, 2008 at 7:00 PM in the Minshew-Coley Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Lewis Godwin and Rev. Shirley Harris officiated. Burial will be at Mt Zion Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery Wednesday December 31, 2008 at 2:00 PM.
She was born Wilson County January 1, 1952 to the late John M. and Ruth Wilson Sanders. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving, husband George Newcomb, two sons: Chris Petway and Ruben Petway and wife Tricia, one sister: Nina Corbett and one niece Kim Corbett.
The family will receive friends Tuesday following the services at the Minshew-Coley Funeral Home.
