| | | Linwood “Poss” Hales, 73, died December 24, 2008. A graveside service Sunday December 28, 2008 at 2:00 PM in the Kenly Cemetery. Rev. Dempsey R. Winstead and Rev. Randy L. Anderson officiated.
He was born Johnston County August 25, 1935 to the late William Henry and Nempie
Sullivan Hales. He was a member of the Niagara Pentecostal Church and founder of Brian Town Gun Club.
Survivng, daughter, Teresa Brantley of Kenly; son, Linwood Hales, Jr. of Kipling; two brothers, Billy Hales of Fayetteville; Jimmy Hales of Pine Level: 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; special friend, Ann Pender.
Preceded in death by two sisters, Lidance Hales Rogers and Helen Hales Balance, two brothers, Condary Hales and Ralph Hales.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6-8 PM at Minshew-Coley Funeral Home
