| | | Gwennie Leigh Clark Flowers, 63, died Sunday. Funeral services were held December 10, 2008 at 2:00 Pm in the chapel of Minshew-Coley Funeral Home.Burial followed in the Kenly Cemetery.
Born in Granville County on February 3, 1945 tp to the late Ira Evans and Lillie Harper Clark.
surviving, husband Roger Allen Flowers, two daughters, Michelle Newcomb and husband Michael of Lucama; Amanda Bailey of Lucama; two sisters, Sheila Phelps of Louisburg;Iris Williams of Smithfield; 5 grandchildren, Daniela Boone, Wendy Baker, April Bailey, Richard Bailey and Tyler Newcomb;3 great grandchildren, Matthew Baker, Allison Boone and Michael Boone.
Preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Allen Purdue, sisters, Linda Bauhman, Floreda Gray, and twin sister, Winnie Sharon.
