| | | William James Finley passed away August 17, 2009 at Claremore, OK at the age of 89. He was born June 1, 1920 at Broken Arrow, OK to William A. Finley and Ruby (Fisher) Finley. William was raised and lived nearly his entire life in Broken Arrow. He graduated for Broken Arrow High School in 1938, Connors Junior College, & Tulsa University in 1951 with a BS in Business Administration. William served in the 8th Air Force during WW II. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Broken Arrow, a lifetime member of Certified Public Accountants, & was a partner in Kenwill Operating Company, an oil and gas company. William married Dorothy Brown on May 25, 1946. Those left to honor his memory are his wife Dorothy; sons Lonnie & his wife Kristi, Alan & his wife Jennie, daughters Jeanne & her husband Rex Jones all of Broken Arrow,Jennifer & her husband Paul Eoff of Monkey Island, OK; 8-grandchildren, Brandi & Chase Finley, Laura, Meggie & Brennan Finley, Zack & his wife Jill Jones, Katie Lundgren, Ryan & his wife Payton Eoff; 1-great-grandchild Byron Lundgren; 1-sister Ann Boyd of Oklahoma City.
