Fred J. Couch, 93 of Broken Arrow, OK died Tuesday, July 7, 2009 in Broken Arrow. Fred was born June 7, 1916 in Broken Arrow, OK to Charles & Rotha (Neas) Couch. He graduated from Oklahoma A & M with a Bachelor’s degree in Poultry Science and worked as a Farm Loan
Officer and a farmer. Fred married Frances Marie Leech on June 30, 1939 at Boston Avenue Methodist Church in Tulsa. He was a member of Forest Ridge Baptist Church in Broken Arrow.
Survivors include one son, Don Couch & wife Mary, one daughter, Margaret Scraper & husband Dan all of Lawton, Oklahoma, 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, & 2 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Frances, his parents, & his brother Ralph Neas Couch.
A private family graveside service was held Wednesday, July 08, 2009 at
Park Grove Cemetery, Broken Arrow, OK.
The family has asked that contributions be made to a favorite charity in
lieu of flowers.
