Dear Evelyn,
It was so good to meet you and to visit with you and Dan at our 50th class reunion last summer. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your sons, Scott and Stephen, at this time. My memories of Dan in high school are cherished and it was so good reconnecting with him at the reunion after all of these years. May our Lord help you and your sons through this difficult time.

Dear Cousins,
Dan was loved and admired by the Hehr/Bristol/Ball side of the family. I'm grateful we "re-met" later in our lives and sorry it was for too short a time. Thank you for welcoming me into your lives with open arms. You have our condolences and prayers. May God keep you wrapped in His arms. I was so sorry to hear of Dan's passing. He was an active member of the Millstream Astronomy club.
Even though some of us knew Dan as an avid stargazer, He was so much more than an astronomer.
His interests were many and varied. A lover of flying, scouting, weather, coin and stamp collecting, gardening and sharing his passions with others. Dan was a professor at many schools and universities where he was able to share his vast knowledge of many fields.
Most of all, Dan was a family man.
He will be sorely missed.

It was with heavy heart when I read of Dan's passing. We were both at The Univ. of Findlay and Owens, but it was at the latter where I got to know him best. We spent ALOT of time talking about all things meteorologically and astronomically, although my background was in Communication. Many times, we would talk for an hour or more in the Owens parking lot after everyone else had headed for home from an evening summer class. I shall surely miss those conversations. He was a good friend. My thoughts are with your family. | From: Doug Switzer 04/01/2012 07:00 PM

Expressing deepest sympathy. Sincerely hoping too, it helps a little just to know that others think of you.
Remember, God has promised to never leave us or forsake us and He also tells us "and this too will pass" and the good memories will always be a part of your life.
Will continue to keep you and your family in our prayers.

Dear Evelyn,
I was saddened to hear of Dan's passing. He and I were classmates at Upper up to the 4th grade and later we were at MATC at the same time. He was always so positive and helpful. I'll miss him knowing that he is not with us any longer but is in God's care.
My best to you and his family.
