Appleton
Age 83, died Thursday September 3, 2009 at Cherry Meadows Hospice. Peg was born May 16, 1926 in Little Falls, MN. On April 28, 1951, she was united in marriage to Peter T. Geiger. She worked for 33 years at Zwicker Knitting Mills, retiring in 1983.
Peg is survived by her husband Peter, of Appleton; she was preceded in death by her parents Otto and Nellie (Gannon) Quade; 2 brothers: John Gannon and Ivan Quade; and her sister Nelle Mc Cabe.
A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated 11 am Tuesday, September 8 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1810 N. Mc Donald St, Appleton, with Father Gerald Falk officiating. Friends may call directly at the church from 9 am Tuesday until the time of service. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established for ThedaCare at Home and St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at ThedaCare at Home for the kindness, care, and concern shown to Peg.
