Paige Elizabeth, age 20, was taken from her family and all who loved her on June 19, 2009, by a drunk driver in Green Bay, WI. She was born May 9, 1989 to Randy Berg and Shannon Riley. Paige was very passionate and so full of life. She was fearless, strong willed, funny, extremely caring for people, and showed love to all she met. She was so proud of recently passing her CNA state board examination in South Carolina, and was looking forward to going on to become a nurse. Paige was home on vacation visiting her family and friends and celebrating her brother Tyler’s high school graduation. Paige excelled in music, loved to writhe poetry and was very artistic. She often expressed her creativity in the ever changing colors of her hair. Paige will live with us always through her mother Shannon Riley-Berg and fiancé Randy DeBaere, and her father Randall (special friend Tricia) Berg; Her brothers Tyler and Riley; her grandparents Chuck and Vicki Riley, and Jim and Marilyn Berg; her uncles and Aunts (Kim (Carol) Newling, Scott (Lori) Newling, Craig Weborg, Daren Weborg, Michael (Robin) Riley, and Michael Berg. Many awesome cousins: Jason, Jacob, Ryan, Matt, Leah, Katie, Sarah, Meghan, Hailey, Lauren, Charlie, and Madison.
A funeral service will be held at 6 pm Tuesday, June 23, at the Brettschneider-Trettin-Lederer Funeral Chapel. Friends may visit at the funeral chapel on Tuesday from 3 pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial service has been established.
There are no words to express our grief and deep feeling of loss. Everyone who knew Paige Elizabeth has a story of love and laughter to tell. When you think of her please pray for our family. Paige, we love you with all our hearts and we’ll miss you.
