Virginia age 87, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2009,at St. Elizabeth Hospital, with her loving family by her side. She was born February 3, 1922 in Appleton, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Gabriel) Kaufman. Virginia was employed by the H.C. Prange Co. in the credit department for 48 year until her retirement in 1989. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Yackity Yack Club.
She is survived by her cousins: Ray and Carol Kaufman, Appleton; Bernice Brill, Appleton; Eleanore Wagner, Appleton; special friends: Margaret “Mugs” Hughs, Appleton; Grace Rheimer, Greenville; Sue Schroeder, Appleton; Rita Kane, Appleton; Addie Ulman, Appleton and a God Child: Jean Mulvey. She was preceded in death by her cousins: Rayburn Kaufman Sr. and Harold Kaufman and many close friends.
Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 10 AM, Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at St. Mary Catholic Church 312 S. State St., with Rev. Michael O’Rourke officiating. Burial will take place at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Hortonville. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9 AM until the time of service. Memorials may be directed to St. Mary Catholic Church.
