Glen was born in Kaukauna, WI on May 20, 1953. He left us for a much better place on February 26, 2009. He was the first born child to Mark and Eleanor, followed by six siblings which he let know often that he had it pretty good until they all came along!
He attended St. Joseph Grade School, Xavier High School, then onto U.W. Green Bay. Glen worked for 28 years at Rich’s Bakery until their closing. He was employed at the American Legion Club, which he enjoyed immensely and had made great friendships.
Glen’s father Mark passed away in 1994. He is survived by his mother Eleanor; brothers and sisters: Mark, Patricia, Bruce (Debbie), Steven (Pam) Colleen (Jeff) and Christopher (Michelle); the nieces and nephews he spoiled on holidays, Jason, Ben, Ross, Travis, Justin, Chelsea, Kristen, and many, many good friends.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, March 2, 2009 at the Brettschneider-Trettin-Lederer Funeral Chapel with Deacon Mark Farrell officiating. Inurnment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral chapel on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to any humane society.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the caring staff in the ICU at Theda Clark Medical Center.
Glen, take care of those stray animals in heaven, but avoid the horses! You will stay alive in all our hearts until we see you again. Lots of love.
