“Chico”
Robert age 72 of Appleton, passed away Sunday, January 04, 2009, at Appleton Medical Center. He suffered a stroke 6 years ago and was a resident of Brewster Village since that time. He was born February 7, 1936 in Appleton, son of the late Harvey and Mabel (Luebben) Korth. After graduating from Hortonville High School he went to work for Outagamie County Health Center for 31 years until he retired in 1991. Chico was an avid bowler and in his younger days he enjoyed playing baseball. He also loved polka music and played the accordion in the polka band, “The Polka Chips.”
Survivors include his cousins, Aldon (Helen) Korth, Hilbert; Mrs. Kenneth (Mildred) Neumann, Greenville, Lorraine (Wilbert) Abitz, Appleton; special friends: Roezan Magolski, Appleton and Pat Crowe, Appleton
A memorial service will be held 11 AM Monday, March 9, 2009, at Brettschneider-Trettin-Lederer Funeral Chapel with Deacon Rick Simon officiating. Burial will be in the Town of Greenville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral chapel on Monday, March, 9, 2009 from 10:30 AM until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established.
