1927-2009 Robert Eugene Campbell, 82, Bolckow, Missouri passed from this life at his home on Thursday, September 24, 2009. He was born March 19, 1927 in Bolckow, Missouri to William and Grace (Waugh) Campbell. Robert served with the U.S. Navy during WW II. He married Wilda Beattie on April 20, 1947 at Fairfax, Missouri. Robert was a farmer. He was a member and deacon at Bolckow Christian Church. Robert loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of American Legion Dick Munkres Post #287, Savannah, Missouri. His parents; brothers, Virgil, Carl and Ernest Campbell; and sister, Laverda Winters, preceded Robert in death. Survivors: wife, Wilda Campbell, of the home; daughters, Marilyn Glidden and husband, Roger, Hopkins, Missouri; Sharon Austin and husband, Wayne, Diamondhead, Mississippi; grandchildren, Shannon, Kari, Colt, Brandi, Kelly, Billy and Mike; great grandchildren, Alex, Brayden, Cayden, Austin, Koby, Page and Dixie; several nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life: 1:00 PM Monday, September 28, 2009 at Breit-Hawkins & Gladden Funeral Home, Savannah, Missouri. Interment at Bolckow, Missouri Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 PM Sunday. The family suggests memorials to Bolckow Christian Church. | ||
