| Lois Evelyn (Glenn) Kersey, 81, St. Joseph, Missouri passed from this life on Friday, July 17, 2009 at Heartland Hospital. She was born April 12, 1928 in Martinsville, Missouri to the late Lloyd and Vivian (VanHoozer) Glenn. Lois was a homemaker and was a very caring and loving person who enjoyed helping people. She was a member and volunteer at McCarthy Baptist Church. Lois also volunteered at Wesley Towers. Lois married Owen Kersey in St. Joseph on July 16, 1966. He preceded in death on September 21, 1992. Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Annette and Richard Testerman, St. Joseph; grandchildren, Cammy and Brad Testerman and great granddaughter, Ally Testerman. Celebration of Life: 11 AM Tuesday, July 21 at McCarthy Baptist Church. Mrs. Kersey has been cremated. There is no visitation scheduled. Memorial donations can be made to the donor’s choice. Arrangements entrusted to Gladden-Stamey Funeral Home, St. Joseph.
