1929-2009 Blanche May (Burrise) Rhodes, 80, Cameron, Missouri passed from this life on Monday, May 4, 2009 at Cameron Regional Medical Center, Cameron, Missouri. She was born April 29, 1929 in Harris, Missouri. Blanche was a homemaker and was of the Christian Faith. Blanche married Earnest Rhodes in 1949 at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas and he preceded her in death on September 16, 1998. Her parents, Freddie Burrise and Ethel (Meeker) Burrise Morrison; 2 infant sons, Earnest Rhodes, Jr. and Jimmy Lee Watson; 2 brothers, Fred and Glenn Burrise; and a sister, Hazel Burrise also preceded her in death. Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Danny Perry, St. Joseph, Missouri; son and daughter-in-law, William and Anna Rhodes, Cameron, MO; brothers, Dale Glidewell, Springfield, MO, Robert Glidewell, St. Joseph, MO; sisters, Shirley Briner, Savannah, MO, Louise Briner, Rosendale, MO; 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter on the way; and several nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life: 11:30 AM Friday, May 8, 2009 at Gladden-Stamey Chapel. Interment at the National Cemetery, Fort Leavenworth, KS. Public viewing and family receiving hours 6-8 PM Thursday.
