| Marla J. (Wolverton) Chambers, 51, Rea, Missouri died Sunday, November 19, 2006 at Heartland Hospital, St. Joseph, Missouri. Marla was born September 26, 1955 at Cedar Rapids, Iowa to the late Robert and Velma (Dollars) Wolverton. Marla married Geary Chambers on January 17, 1976 at Stanberry, Missouri. Marla was a child care teacher at Mother’s Day Out, St. Joseph and was engaged in farming with her husband Geary. She was a member of Whitesville Baptist Church; was a Sunday school teacher and song leader at the church. Marla was a 4-H Leader and was a very giving person and was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors: her husband, Geary of the home; daughters, Jennifer Coulson and husband John, Peculiar, Missouri; Sarah and Hannah Chambers both of Platte City, Missouri: brothers, Bob and Gary Wolverton both of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna (Gary) Robertson and Deanna (Larry) Robinson all of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Lana (Dave) Baker, Dysart, Iowa; granddaughter Chloe Coulson and grandson Samuel Coulson; mother-in-law, Barbara Chambers, Rea, MO; several nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life: 10:30 AM Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at Whitesville Baptist Church. Interment at Whitesville Cemetery. Public viewing and family receiving 7-9 PM Tuesday at Breit-Hawkins & Gladden Funeral Home, Savannah, MO. The body will be removed to the church at 9:30 AM Wednesday. The family requests memorials to the American Heart Association. | ||
