| Mabel Irene Davis, 94, Fillmore, Missouri died Thursday, September 7, 2006 at La Verna Village Nursing Home in Savannah.
Mabel was born July 23, 1912 at Bolckow, Missouri to the late Omer and Maude (Neely) Davis. Mabel married Emmett Fairbanks Davis on December 10, 1931 at Savannah. He preceded her in death on June 30, 1992. Mabel was a member of the former Baptist Church of Fillmore. She was a homemaker, enjoyed crocheting and hooking rugs. A son, Herbert D.”Scrubby” Davis; brother Clarence Davis; sisters Mae Cox and Maletta Davis also preceded her in death. Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law Herschel E. and Leveta Davis; Melvin and Mary Davis, all of Savannah; daughter and son-in-law Louise and Bob Kenyon, Holts Summit, Missouri; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life: 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 9, 2006 at Breit-Hawkins & Gladden Funeral Home, Savannah, Missouri. Public viewing and family receiving hours 6 to 8 PM Friday. Interment Fillmore, Missouri Cemetery. | ||
