| Rosella “Ann” (Troupe) Anderson, 88, Savannah, Missouri died Thursday, August 24, 2006 at LaVerna Village Nursing Home, Savannah, Missouri.
Ann was born November 21, 1917 at Stella, Nebraska to Garfield L. and Bertha B. (Bradley) Troupe. She graduated from Craig, Missouri high school and received her Registered Nurse degree from the Methodist School of Nursing, St. Joseph, Missouri. Ann worked at the former Methodist Hospital, St. Joseph for many years, retiring in the 1970’s. Ann was a member of First Christian Church, Savannah; Sew More Club of the church and the Royal Neighbors of America. She enjoyed quilting, knitting and reading. Ann married Walter A. Anderson, Sr. on October 7,1938 at St. Joseph, Missouri. He preceded her in death June 19, 1977. Also preceding Ann in death were her parents; son, Walter A. Anderson, Jr.; grandson, Bradley Arn; brother, Melvin Troupe and sister Lois Kinder. Survivors: twin daughters and sons-in-law Jean and Ron Arn, Savannah, Missouri and Jane and Don Suedmeyer, Wheatland, Missouri; 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Celebration of Life:11:00 AM, Saturday, August 26 at Breit-Hawkins & Gladden Funeral Home, Savannah. Public viewing after 3:00 PM, Friday. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Joseph. Memorials may be made to The Bradley Arn Memorial Scholarship Fund at Missouri Western State University. | ||
