1934 – 2008 Donna Marie (Adams) Ceglenski, 74, Savannah, Missouri passed from this life on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at Heartland Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Donna was born July 11, 1934 at Horton, Kansas to the late Clifford and Pearl (Hixon) Adams. She married E.F. Ceglenski on November 26, 1955 at St. Joseph, Missouri. Donna was a homemaker and worked a short time as a secretary at Quaker Oats and as a clerk at the license bureau in Mound City, Missouri. For many years, Donna was an active member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Forest City, Missouri. She recently was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Savannah. Donna was very active in volunteering for her church and community. She enjoyed growing and arranging flowers, sewing, crafts, and always had a vegetable garden. Survivors: husband, E. F. Ceglenski, of the home; daughter, Theresa Tommey, Gower, Missouri; sons, John Ceglenski and wife, Dana, Savannah, Missouri; Dennis Ceglenski and wife, Toni Prawl, Jefferson City, Missouri; sister, Patricia Adams, St. Joseph; brothers, Dick Adams, Citrus Heights, California; Bob Adams and wife, Dixie, St. Joseph; 6 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 AM Saturday, October 11, 2008 at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 705 Hall Street, Savannah, Missouri. Interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery, St. Joseph. Public viewing after 12:00 PM Friday at Breit-Hawkins & Gladden Funeral Home, Savannah, Missouri. Rosary at 6:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home following the Rosary. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society. | ||
