1925 – 2008 Annie Elizabeth (Johnson) Breit, 83, St. Joseph, passed from this life on Sunday, July 13, 2008 at her home. Annie was born May 1, 1925 at Fillmore, Missouri to Henry and Sadie (McCallon) Johnson. She married Arnold Eugene Breit on September 22, 1942 at Sidney, Nebraska. He preceded her in death on March 2, 1990. Annie worked for a short time as a licensed practical nurse and was head cashier at K-Mart. She liked to camp and was an active member of Family Worship Center, Country Club Village. Her parents; daughter, Pamela Kay Breit; an infant brother and brothers, Virgil; Gordon C.; Norman; John and Earnest Johnson; and sisters, Ruth Ellis and Violet Miller; also preceded Annie in death. Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Belinda Breit, Plymouth, Minnesota; Stephen (Mike) and Nancy Jo Breit, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughter, Nancy Gail Breit; brother, Stuart Johnson, both of St. Joseph; sisters, Lillian Frazier, St. Helens, Oregon; Mary Pryor, St. Joseph; grandchildren, Kelly Breit and wife, Lori, Brooklyn Park, Minnesota; Stephanie Dean and husband, Joe, Stillwater, Minnesota; Ryan Breit and wife Kim, Kimberling City, Missouri; great grandchildren, Madison and Parker Dean; and numerous nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life: 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at Breit-Hawkins & Gladden Funeral Home, Savannah, Missouri. Interment in Savannah Cemetery, Savannah, Missouri. Public viewing after 12:00 PM Tuesday, July 15. Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society or Hands of Hope Hospice. | ||
