1923 – 2008 Zola J. Graff, 84, Savannah, Missouri, died Sunday, January 6, 2008. Zola was born February 25, 1923 in Cedar City, Utah to Thornton and Selma Jones. She graduated from Cedar City High School and attended Southern Utah University. While in Utah, she worked for J.C. Penney and Bank of Southern Utah. On March 10, 1945, she married Erle Edwin Graff of Savannah, Missouri. They began their married life in St. Joseph, Missouri. Then they moved to Savannah, where they celebrated 62 years of marriage. Erle Edwin survives of the home. Zola was active in Savannah community affairs and was a leading salesperson with J. C. Penney in St. Joseph, retiring in 1985. Zola is also survived by one son, James Graff, one daughter, Melinda Graff, both of Savannah, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Zola has four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Celebration of Life: 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at Breit-Hawkins & Gladden Funeral Home, Savannah. Mrs. Graff will be cremated following the celebration of life. Inurnment will be held at a later date. The family suggests memorials to Shady Lawn Nursing Home. | ||
