Charles M. Billow-President (seated left) An Akron native, Chip graduated from Firestone High School in 1972, the University of Akron in 1976, and Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1978.  His current activities include serving as Trustee and Secretary of the Better Business Bureau of Akron, Trustee and Chairman of Community Health Ventures, Visiting Nurse Service, Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service, and Visiting Nurse Equipment and Supplies, Trustee of Visiting Nurse Service and Hospice Development Foundation, Akron General Health System, Akron General Medical Center, Akron General Development Foundation, and Akron Zoological Park.  He is an organizer and director of Cuyahoga Falls Savings Bank.  Chip is a member of St. Paul''s Episcopal Church, the Tallmadge Rotary Club, Leadership Akron Alumni Association, Commerce Club of Akron, Bluecoats Incorporated, and the WKSU Community Advisory Council.

Charles W. Billow (seated center) Chuck joined Billow''s in 1944 while still in high school and became the fourth generation of Billows to serve Summit County.  He served in the United States Navy from 1945 to 1947 and was a graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1950.  Chuck is a member of St. Paul''s Episcopal Church, the Rotary Club of Akron, the Bluecoats of Summit County, and is a 32nd Degree Mason.

Ann Billow Grebelsky-Secretary-Treasurer (seated right) As one of the Billow''s, Ann grew up at the funeral home and has worked for the company for 18 years.  She attended Ashland College and the University of Akron, and is a member of St. Paul''s Episcopal Church, where she is active with the flower guild.  She is past president of Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumnae Association, and past president of the Junior Board of Akron City Hospital, where she is currently a member of the Women''s Auxiliary Board.

Fred D. Rieman A graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1976, Fred has served the Billow Company for 15 years and is the Director of Prearrangement Services.  He is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where he serves as an usher, the Copley-Fairlawn Kiwanis Club, the Fairlawn Chamber of Commerce, and the King School P.T.A.

John D. Bokas A resident of Tallmadge and the manager of the Tallmadge Chapel, John was a graduate of the University of Akron, and has worked for the Billow Co. for 9 years.  He is a member of St. Hilary Catholic Church, where he sings with the parish choir, The Knights of Columbus Tallmadge Council, and the Monsignor Joseph O''Keefe Assembly, The Tallmadge Chamber of Commerce, where he serves as a trustee, and the Choral Society of St. Paul''s Episcopal Church.

Gregory G. Sunyak Upon his return from Vietnam, Greg graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1973.  He has been employed by the Billow Co. for 4 years and is an active member of the Military Aviation Preservation Society (MAPS).

Don Taylor In addition to his duties as a funeral director, Don has served the company as the Personnel Director and as the manager of the Falls Chapel.  A 15 year employee of the Billow Co., He graduated from the University of Akron , and the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science.  Don is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls, where he serves on the Nominating and Finance Committee.

P. Thomas (Tom) Varley For 31 years, Tom has served the Billow Co. and is the manager of the Lakes Chapel.  A 1968 graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, Tom is a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, the National Funeral Directors Association, and past president of the Portage Lakes Kiwanis.  Each year, Tom plays an integral role in the Kiwanis Rose Day.

Christopher J. Breda The newest addition to our licensed staff, Chris was a 1994 graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and is an active member of the Granger United Methodist Church.

William F. Harder A graduate of Youngstown College and the Pitsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, Bill has been a director with Billow''s for 15 years.  he is an active member of the Ghent Christian Church, where he served as Board Chairman, and serves as a Trustee and Deacon.  Bill lives in Copley Twp. and is a member of the Star Lodge No. 187 F.&A.M., and the Woodworkers of America.
