Hannah L. Matheis age 78 of Jasper died at 4:15 a.m. Monday (May 14, 2007) in the St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper.
She was born at Velpen, Indiana on January 17, 1929 to Harvey and Goldie (Jones) Kays. She married Bernard P. Matheis on November 2, 1946 he preceded her in death on February 8, 1998.
Hannah Matheis retired from Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper and member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Jasper.
Surviving is 1 son, James M. Matheis, Jasper, IN
4 daughters,

Mrs. Robert (Mary) Klingel all of Jasper, IN
12 Grandchildren 16 great Grandchildren
Preceding her in death besides her husband 1 brother, Arbor Gene Kays and 2 sister, Ruby Trusty and Audrey Kays who died in infancy.
Funeral services for Hannah Matheis will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday (May 17, 2007) in Trinity United Church of Christ with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper. Pastor Debbie Roe and Rev. Richard Pearson will officiate.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday (May 16, 2007) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Church of Christ in Jasper.
