Magdalen V. Mehringer age 90 of Ireland passed away at 11:20 A.M. Sunday January 14, 2007 at Jasper Memorial Hospital. She was born October 21, 1916 at Jasper to; Joseph and Otillia (Kunz) Gramelspacher. She married Ruben Mehringer May 22, 1946. He passed away December 23, 1995.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church
Surviving: 1 son-Charles Mehringer of Ireland
2 daughters-Janet Mehringer of Ireland, and Mrs. Norbert (Veronica) Humbert of Huntingburg.
1 sister-Bernadine Schepers of Jasper
7 Grandchildren
4 great Grandchildren
Preceded in death besides her husband are 6 brothers-Michael, Herman, Vic, Sylvester, and Lawrence Gramelspacher, and Bernard Gramelspacher who died in infancy.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Becher & Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday January 18, 2007 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Ireland with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
