Dateline Haysville:

Annette C. Harder age 86 of Haysville passed away at 5:30 P.M. Friday March 18, 2005 at Jasper Memorial Hospital. She was born January 13, 1919 in Harbison Twp. To: John G. and Mathilda (Harder) Seitz. She married Nelson E. Harder October 12, 1937 at St. Paulís Lutheran Church in Haysville IN.

She was a life member of Christ Lutheran Church in Haysville, a volunteer for over 30 years at the Northwood Good Samaritan Nursing Center in Jasper, She was a director at the Dubois County Humane society, She mended at the Providence Home in Jasper, sewed blankets and covers for overseas through her church, and helped with blood drives.

Hobbies included :Crossword and Jigsaw Puzzles, board games, Sheephead and her favorite Scrabble and she loved traveling. She was noted for sharing her garden produce turnip slaw, Kraut, and horseradish and baking items for sales.

Surviving: Her husband Nelson E. Harder of Haysville.
1 daughter- Margaret Boyles of Evansville .
2 sons-Frederick Harder of Jasper, and Richard Harder of Haubstadt IN.

1 brother-Calvin Seitz of Velpen IN.
Preceded in death by 4 sisters-Lillian Seitz, Oleta S. Neukam, Lydia M. Popp, and Eileen Z. Schaber, 4 brothers- Nelson R., John G. Jr., Ralph J. Seitz and Arthur Seitz who died in infancy.

Visitation will be held from 12:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday at the Becher & Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday March 21, 2005 at Christ Lutheran Church in Haysville In with burial to follow in the church cemetery. There will be visitation at the church 1 hour before service from 9:00-10:00 A.M. Monday. The Rev. Tim Kramer will officiate the service.
