Aleda Kalb age 89 of Dubois, Indiana died at 6:33 p.m. Monday (November 1, 2004) at
the Northwood Good Samaritan Nursing Center in Jasper.
She was born at Portersville, Indiana on May 5, 1915 to Charles and Anna (Eisenhut)
Miller. She married Hilbert Kalb on May 5, 1934 at St. John’s Lutheran Church at the
Dubois Crossroads, he preceded her in death on December 17, 1992.
Aleda Kalb was a homemaker and member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in
Dubois.
She was also an avid NasCar fan.
Surviving are 1 son and 1 daughter,

7 grandchildren 18 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death besides her husband are 1 son Leroy Kalb. 1 sister, Albertine
Hemmerlein and 2 brothers, Leo and Albert Miller.
Funeral services for Aleda Kalb will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday November 5, 2004)
in St. Peter’s United Church of Christ with burial to follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery in
Dubois. The Rev. Tom Cofer will officiate.
Friends may call from 2 - 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Becher - Kluesner North Chapel in
Jasper.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter’s United Church of Christ.
