Clarence W. Gehlhausen Jr., age 68, of Jasper passed away at 3:12 p.m., Wednesday (May 9, 2012) at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
Clarence was born on August 10, 1943 to Clarence W. Sr. and Vivian (Jackson) Gehlhausen. He married Brenda Russell on April 25, 1981 in Jasper.
He worked at Jasper Cabinet Company for many years, he was a coal miner, a bar tender at the Moose, and he worked at Jasper Salvage.
He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, the Jasper Moose, the American Legion Post #147, and Jasper Outdoor Recreation.
He was an avid Nascar, I.U., Indianapolis Colts, and St. Louis Cardinals fan, and enjoyed gardening.

Funeral services for Clarence W. Gehlhausen Jr. will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday (May 12, 2012) at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Jasper, with burial to follow in Shiloh Cemetery.
Friends may call two hours before services from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday (May 12, 2012) at the church. The Jasper Moose Lodge will conduct a ritual at 9:30 a.m. in church.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, A.C.T. of Dubois County, or the Dubois County Humane Society
