Larry E. Mehringer, age 71 of Jasper, passed away at 3:17 p.m. , Sunday (April 1, 2012) at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.
He was born in Jasper on July 8, 1940 to Leo and Aurelia (Renner) Mehringer. He married Jayne Nonte on October 14, 1961 at St. John's Catholic Church in Loogootee, Indiana.
Larry worked as a truck driver for over 40 years.
He was a member of the Jasper High School Class of 1958 and the Jasper Outdoor Recreation.
He enjoyed playing cards and gardening.

Dr. Brett Mehringer, and spouse Sara, Washington, MO
13 grandchildren

Mrs. Ben (Sara) Rogier, Tell City, IN
One brother,
Vernon Mehringer, spouse, Dorothy, Jasper, IN
Preceding him in death is one grandson, Noah Mehringer.
Funeral services for Larry Mehringer will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday (April 4, 2012) at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Jasper, with entombment to follow in the Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum.
Friends may call from 2:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., on Tuesday (April 3, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
