Lucille C. Friedman, age 83 of Jasper, passed away at 4:20 a.m. Sunday (February 26, 2012) in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.
She was born in Jasper, Indiana on May 27, 1928 to Harry and Henrietta (Miller) Vonderheide. She married Howard “Jake” Friedman on May 15, 1951. He preceded her in death on October 13, 2005.
Lucille was a homemaker and member of Holy Family Catholic Church - Blessed Virgin Sodality of Holy Family .
She enjoyed embroidery and sewing.

Five grandchildren and Nine great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death besides her husband are one sister, Virginia Mitchell and one brother, Melvin Vonderheide.
Funeral services for Lucille Friedman will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday (February 29, 2012) in Holy Family Catholic Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday (February 28, 2012) at the Becher - Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
Blessed Virgin Sodality will have a Rosary Service at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
