Daniel L. Hopf, age 74 of Huntingburg passed away at 10:00 a.m. Thursday (November 3, 2011) in Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
He was born at Huntingburg, Indiana on August 6, 1937 to Anthony and Agnes (Mehringer) Hopf. He married Rosaline Brinkman on May 30, 1959 in St. Ferdinand Catholic Church.
Daniel Hopf was a Farmer in the Duff area. He also served in the Indiana National Guard.
He is a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Ireland and The Duff Conservation Club.

Preceding him in death is one granddaughter, and six brothers, William, Jerome, Urban, Rufus, Edwin and Emil Hopf.
Funeral services for Daniel Hopf will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday (November 8, 2011) in St. Mary Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery in Ireland.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Monday (November 7, 2011) at the Becher & Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church or to the Dubois County 4-H.
