Odilo Fromme, age 95 of Jasper passed away at 4:55 a.m. Friday in the Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.
He was born at Celestine, Indiana on February 4, 1916 to August John and Anna (Reker) Fromme. He married Clara Rose Schnell on September 20, 1938.
Odilo retired from the former Jasper Glove Company where he had worked for 53 years and also did farming in the Celestine Community.
He is a member of Holy Family Catholic Church – Holy Name Society - St. Vincent DePaul Society and Life long member of Celestine Community club where he served as past president.
Avid musician, he loved music and played a Violin and Harmonica and Trombone. He also did all the genealogy study for the St. Celestine Cemetery.

21 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren
Preceding him in death are one sister, Leona Schepers, and three brothers, Cornelius, Edwin and Joseph Fromme.
Funeral services for Odilo Fromme will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday (May 3, 2011) in Holy Family Catholic Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Monday (May 2, 2011) at the Becher & Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church- Northwood Retirement Community or to the Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center in Jasper.
