Hilbert "Hip" Hasenour age 89 of Celestine passed away Sunday April 17, 2011 at the Waters of Jasper. He was born April 9, 1922 in Celestine to: John F. and Barbara (Leisman) Hasenour. He married Georgina Lechner, September 7, 1950. She passed away August 24, 1992
He was a Farmer in the Celestine area.
Memberships include: St. Celestine Catholic Church, WW2 Veteran, VFW Post 673, American Legion Post 147, charter member of the Celestine Community Club.
Surviving: 2 sons-Donald and Robert Hasenour both of Celestine
2 daughters- Jane and Julie Hasenour both of Celestine
Preceding him in death besides his wifeare 4 brothers-Martin C., Egid, John, and Hubert Hasenour, 3 sisters-Rosalinda Hasenour, Anna Troesch, and Veronica Goepfrich.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Becher & Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday April 20, 2011 at St. Celestine Catholic Church in Celestine In. with burial to follow in the church cemetery American Legion Post 147 will conduct the Military grave Side Rites..
